This specialist 1 day first aid course is designed for pharmacists, pre‑registration pharmacists, and the wider pharmacy team, including non‑clinical staff. Delivered by an experienced paramedic with over a decade of frontline practice, the training is hands‑on, jargon‑free, and highly interactive. The course places strong emphasis on recognising anaphylaxis and using adrenaline auto‑injectors confidently, alongside CPR for babies, children and adults with AED use. Delegates also cover diabetic emergencies, seizures, choking, burns, eye injuries, poisoning and more. The course is fully HSE compliant, assessed informally throughout the day with no written tests, and every participant receives a three‑year certificate plus a copy of Your Emergency First Aid Plan to keep.
